The Outreach, Education and Communications team (OEC) connects patients, researchers, policymakers and the public to the world of biobanking, making complex scientific information accessible and engaging to ensure that BBMRI-ERIC’s important work reaches diverse audiences across Europe and beyond.
What we do
We work with stakeholders to showcase the value of biobanks, bringing stories to life through our podcast, multimedia stories and news articles to make BBMRI-ERIC’s work approachable and visible.
Why it matters
Communicating the work of biobanks builds trust, informs researchers and policymakers and raises public awareness of how biobanks drive health advances. By showing the value and impact of these resources, we support communities in contributing to and benefitting from biomedical research.
