Paediatric biobanking and minor engagement – an interactive workshop
Children’s Bambino Gesù Hospital, Rome, Italy, 13-14 October 2022
This event is organised in partnership with the BBMRI ERIC Stakeholder Forum Patient Pillar, the Children’s Bambino Gesù Hospital, the IDEA Network, and the National Node BBMRI.it.
Join the paediatric and rare diseases biobanking community in Rome this 13-14 October for a highly interactive two-day workshop featuring inspiring expert practitioners and challenging case studies from across the EU.
Expect this innovative, empowerment based, workshop to:
- Broaden and deepen community engagement among stakeholders from the paediatric and rare diseases community.
- Share and harmonise practical solutions for research activities that involve the child as a participant, particularly in longitudinal and translational biobank-based research.
- Address ethical, legal and societal challenges to highlight the pathway forward on paediatric biobanking and ELSI challenges.
Make sure your voice is heard so that you help set priorities and future agendas on how we can comply with the EU’s Horizon Europe goal to implement Responsible Research and Innovation, and the commitment to open science with and for young researchers and citizens.
We strongly advise booking as soon as possible to secure your travel arrangements and prepare for this exciting agenda.
Book your place directly here. You can access the updated preliminary scientific programme by clicking here and scrolling to the Rome stop.
